Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply in the event that an eligible customer (“you / your”) claims the Afterpay promotional offer (“Afterpay Promo”) available for use in conjunction with services provided by Afterpay Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 15 169 342 947) (“Afterpay”) that is subject to the Afterpay Terms of Service. When you claim the Afterpay Promo you agree to the following:
1. You will receive a $30 promotional credit to apply to your first Afterpay purchase (“First Afterpay Purchase”) of $100 or more, online or in-store, in one transaction.
2. The promotional credit:
a. must be claimed in the app and redeemed within 7 days of receiving the initial promo email notifying you of this promo.
b. will be applied to the total original purchase value of your First Afterpay Purchase as displayed by the retailer (including tax, shipping costs) to reduce the value of your four payments equally;
c. is a limited time offer, is single use only and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer;
d. once applied to your First Afterpay Purchase, will be reflected in your First Afterpay Purchase order confirmation and will not be reflected in the retailer order confirmation;
e. cannot be applied to previously placed orders, to pre-order items or any cross border transactions; and
f. is only available for use only at participating Afterpay retailers (excluding DoorDash, Zurich, Jetstar, Kogan, Aussie Broadband, Wondershare, Motorhome Republic, Airport Rentals, Farro, Vitable, GoSeeTravel, Equalution, MOSH, Into the Wild Escapes, Butter Insurance.).
3. Afterpay reserves the right to vary the Afterpay Promo at any time. Where the variation is material and/or to your detriment, we will provide you with at least 30 calendar days' prior personal notice of the variation. If you do not wish to be bound by the variation, you are free to terminate your participation in the Afterpay Promo without penalty or additional fees, within the applicable notice period.
4. The Afterpay Promo is available by invitation only, is non-transferable, is not redeemable for cash or credit, and may not be resold.
5. You are only entitled to claim one Afterpay Promo (and promotional credit) which is limited to one per order, per customer and account regardless if the First Afterpay Purchase made using the Afterpay Promo is returned and/or refunded.
6. Each Afterpay Promo applies only to qualifying items.
7. If the First Afterpay Purchase is returned, the maximum amount you will be refunded is the amount you paid for the product, subject to applicable refund policies.
8. Where the promotional credit is used for any subscription or other recurring payment product, it will only apply to the First Afterpay Purchase of the subscription or recurring payment product. The Afterpay Promo (and promotional credit) will not apply to any subsequent recurring payment period or automatic renewal purchase with Afterpay.
9. If you violate any of the Afterpay Promo terms or Afterpay’s Terms of Service, the Afterpay Promo will be invalid.
10. Offer valid in Australia only.
