I highly recommend Evie and her crew at Bubbly Textile on The Cove Road across from the train station near The Coffee Shop). She has done about 4 separate jobs for me so far and is able to work magic. I was astonished when she mended some of Kelly and Wilbur's favourite pants (which I quite honestly thought were ready for the rubbish bin) and somehow made them look brand new. She has altered a blouse for me and put knees back into Wayne's work overalls. She does a brilliant job, is very reasonable priced and extremely obliging when you need something done urgently ( Wayne's overalls needed doing over the weekend so he could have them again by Monday). She is an absolute Super Hero rescuing all sorts of garments from near death. Pop in and see her if you need anything rescued!

The best alterations I've used around the area! I had my zip fastener replaced in the dress and my trousers taken in around hip area. And the second time I had the shoulder straps adjusted on my dress because the cut was too deep, it's fitting perfectly now! Very happy with how the job was done.
