Hi guy’s my name is Dearne and I am the founder/Ceo of Self Aroha. Aroha meaning LOVE in native New Zealand Maori language which was inspiriation from my sons culture! I wanted to start a positive SELF LOVE brand after experiencing my own mental health struggles, where I lost myself completely and suffered with severe anxiety, intrusive thoughts, depression and loss of identity. I wanted to share the ways in which I saved myself and my life all with positivity and having the right mindset. Positivity is key! I know people bang on about it but it’s because it works!! Our mind believes whatever we feed it! My brand will be focused on raising YOUR SELF LOVE and POSITIVITY! bringing awareness to mental health & elevating that through self love and self development. Self love is so important it saved my life literally! It's something I never practiced and we tend to forget to do as mums and human beings in general. It’s true what they say you cant fill from an empty cup! I realised this after being totally burnt out from everyday mum life for 10 years straight and surrounding myself with negative people and relationships!. Life is what you make it so lets make it a good one!  I’m so excited to continue sharing my story and passion with you all and I only hope that I inspire someone to start loving and treating themselves better!!! when you truly love yourself inside and out you take your power back!!!
