Leveraging the new offering, customers can now check out directly from a product page or shopping cart using their pre-filled Afterpay credentials to complete a transaction more efficiently.
The implementation of Afterpay Express Checkout mutually benefits both consumers and retailers. For consumers, the ability to check out directly from a product page or shopping cart means 75% fewer fields to complete, and an overall 50% reduction in the time it takes to check out. In parallel, retailers benefit from increased cart conversions of as much as 2-3x and the ability to attract a wide range of customers, that have proven their preference towards the flexibility that “buy now, pay later” platforms provide.

The process is easy:
- Make Afterpay Express Checkout available right on your product page, or alternatively, at checkout
- The customer simply chooses “checkout with Afterpay” and is then prompted to log in with his or her Afterpay credentials
- The customer confirms their purchase and shipping details
- The customer reviews and confirms their final order
