US “Afterpay In-store Offers” Program Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to your use of Afterpay’s In-store offers program (“Program”) in conjunction with the services provided by or through Afterpay US, Inc. and/or Afterpay US Services, LLC. You agree that by participating in the Program that the Program terms and conditions are in addition to any agreements between Program participants and Afterpay including Afterpay’s U.S. Terms of Service, Afterpay Privacy Policy and Afterpay Installment Agreement. Afterpay may share personal information with third parties for purposes of the Program.

• The Program in-store offers (“Program offers”) are for a limited-time time period and are available at participating merchants on in-store transactions only using either the Afterpay Plus Card or Afterpay Card. Program offers cannot be earned from online Afterpay transactions.

• Some Program offers may need to be activated in the Afterpay mobile app before the offer can be earned and those offers will identify that prior activation is required. 

• Once Program offer terms are fulfilled, specified Afterpay in-store earnings (“Program earnings”) may be accrued by you. 

• The Program earnings are single use only and cannot be used in conjunction with any other Afterpay promotional discounts, credits or vouchers or any additional Program earnings redemption amount. 

• Program earnings will be available in specific redemption amounts that will be determined and that are at the sole discretion of Afterpay. When earnings in specific redemption amounts have been earned and become available, they will be reflected in your Afterpay mobile app. You will only be able to apply earnings on purchases that are at minimum $1.00 more than the specific redemption amount you have redeemed.   

• When redeeming your Program earnings, the earnings will be applied to the total original purchase value as displayed by the retailer (including tax, shipping costs) to reduce the value of your four payments equally.

• Program earnings will be available for redemption for 12 months from the date of your last Afterpay transaction and will expire thereafter.

• A Program offer and Program earnings will only apply if your Afterpay account is not closed or suspended, unless otherwise determined by Afterpay.

• Once a Program earnings redemption amount is selected and redeemed, it will automatically be applied to a future Afterpay online or in-store purchase of the eligible customer. 

• Once a Program earnings redemption amount is selected and redeemed, it will be available for three months from the date redeemed.

• Where Program earnings are used for a subscription or other recurring payment product or service, earnings will only apply to the initial Afterpay transaction related to the subscription or recurring payment product. The Program offer will not apply to any subsequent recurring payment period or automatic renewal purchase with Afterpay.

• Program offers are available by invitation only. Earnings from the Program are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash or credit, and may not be resold. Nothing in this Program will deem a customer eligible to receive or redeem offers in the form of cash or cash equivalents, nor can any customer withdraw, redraw or deposit cash or cash equivalents to their Afterpay account by participating in this Program.

• Once Program offers have been earned, Program earnings generally will reflect 24-48hrs after the Afterpay transaction in the Rewards tab of your Afterpay mobile app.

• Program offers and/or earnings cannot be applied to past Afterpay transactions.

• Program offers that are listed as single use are limited to one per Afterpay transaction, per customer and account regardless if product(s) related to an offer are returned and/or refunded. 

• Each Program offer applies only to qualifying purchases and items.

• If any of the products related to a Program offer are returned, the maximum amount you will be refunded is the amount you paid for the product, subject to the merchant’s applicable refund policies.

• If you opt-out of Program offers, you will no longer receive Program offers from Afterpay, you will not be able to earn from any in-store offers, and any existing Program earnings from Program offers that you have not yet redeemed will be forfeited and non-recoverable. 

• After you opt-out of the Program, any Program earnings from in-store offers that you have already redeemed before opting-out but not yet used will still be available in your account for three months from the time of redemption. 

• If you opt back in to Program offers after opting-out, your past Program earnings remain forfeited and non-recoverable. 

• If you violate any of these terms, or Afterpay’s Terms of Service, and/or the Afterpay Installment Agreement, the Program offer will be invalid and no Program earnings will be due to you.  

• Please see your individual Program offer for complete details, including but not limited to, your discount amount, minimum purchase amount, and offer expiration dates. 

• Afterpay reserves the right to modify or cancel the Program and/or Program offers at any time in its sole discretion without prior notice to you.
