We’ll send you an SMS and email if an automatic payment is declined. You can’t place new orders while your account is overdue.
To make an overdue payment:
Log in to the Afterpay app or website.
Find the overdue payment in your payment schedule.
Select Pay now.
Follow the prompts to make the payment.
If you’re concerned that you can’t make a payment, contact us for support.
Pay Monthly orders
To determine what you qualify for, Pay Monthly may use information from your consumer report without affecting your credit profile. Afterpay considers traditional and non-traditional factors, including your Pay in 4 repayment history and payment habits.
Pay Monthly has no late fees. It also has an interest cap. Additional interest may accrue earlier because of a higher principal after a late payment, but the interest cap will offset it. You’ll never owe more than the amount shown in your loan agreement at checkout.
Pay in 4 orders
We may charge a late fee when an installment remains unpaid after the applicable grace period. The grace period is usually 10 days unless your payment schedule says otherwise.
We charge no more than one late fee per installment. The total late fees for an order won’t exceed 25% of the initial order value unless your payment confirmation email or the checkout process says otherwise.
