Poppy Lissiman
One thing is sure; Poppy Lissiman knows how to have fun. The WA (and now world-famous) designer is renowned for her high-quality, eye-catching eyewear and often quirky accessories. While offering a range of satin bucket bags, trendy waist bags, daisy key chains and cult-status sunnies, the iconic brand also does its part for the planet, with all accessories made using only vegan (or faux leather) products.
Lucy Folk
Lucy Folk is another Aussie to make her unconventional mark in the world of lifestyle and accessories. While a goldsmith by trade, Lucy Folk has created a contemporary lifestyle brand with a range of Italian-made eyewear, resort-inspired apparel, fragrances, skincare, homewares and beautiful handmade jewellery. Sarah Ellison
Modern and innovative, down-to-earth yet distinctly Australian—Sarah Ellison's aesthetic is the ultimate way to upgrade your interiors. The Byron Bay-based furniture and home accessories label only launched in 2017, but Ellison has already been lauded as one of Australia's leading interior stylists and product designers. A purveyor of absolute must-have items for the home, from sexy velvet swivel chairs to handcrafted pendant lights, this label is one to watch.
Merci Maison
Founded in 2019, Maison Maison offers a range of interior design services, custom and pre-loved furnishings, bespoke lighting and accessories. The Sydney-based brand provides the dreamiest balance of vintage and contemporary design with a slice of sustainability, refined minimalism and raw, organic forms that add an effortless style to any home.
Commas
Sydney based swim and resort wear label, Commas, was founded by creative director Richard Jarma back in 2017. And what started as a humble line of boardshorts has since transformed into a fashion powerhouse with a range of swim briefs and shorts, luxe linen robes, pants and printed silk shirts. As 2021 Australian National Designer of the Year with an Honorable Mention for Sustainability, it's safe to say that Commas deserves the hype.
Alemais
Alemais has paved its way in a few short years with a uniquely feminine aesthetic that celebrates old-world craftsmanship and sustainability. Think embroidered blouses, cut out dresses, 70s florals, ruffles, lace, beautiful prints and waves of subtle multi-coloured pieces.Launching in 2020, Alemais is a relative newbie to the Australian fashion scene.
