Feast your eyes on this.

Truth be told, we’re all a bit over our own cooking, dining at the same table we work at, and eating from the same takeaway joints for months on end. It was fun the first few times, but now that hospitality has opened up again, it’s time to get out there and enjoy some venues that are as delicious for the eyes as they are for the tastebuds.

To celebrate the exciting new partnership of Mr Yum (the QR code ordering system) and Afterpay, we wanna take you to some of the most picturesque spots to eat where you can also pay in 4. So you can break your diet, but not your bank.

1. North Bondi Fish, Sydney

@northbondifish

If Bondi is one of the coolest places in the country, then North Bondi is the coolest of the cool. Any day of the week, the grassy knoll in North Bondi is jam-packed with beautiful people relaxing in the sun, reading, listening to music and having an all-round good time. Right next to this is North Bondi Nami (formerly North Bondi Fish).

North Bondi Fish is a gorgeous place to dine. From basically anywhere in the restaurant, you can see the ocean, feel the ocean and hear the ocean. It’s stunning. The vibe is super relaxed, the food and cocktails are next level amazing, and if your LGA is not on the water, then book a table for you and your mates to check it out today. And absolutely enjoy the people watching.

2. Robe Hotel, Perth

Robe Hotel

Endless ocean. That’s the view from the Robe Hotel in Robe, Perth. This place has one of the best atmosphere’s in the country. It’s a fusion of our chill pub culture, our chill beach culture, and fresh food and bev culture. We don’t know when we’ll be allowed to get into WA, but as soon as we can, the Robe Hotel is definitely worth a visit.

3. Manly Wine, Sydney

@manlywine

The popular Northern Beaches town of Manly has experienced a bit of a renaissance in the last decade. Since Hugo’s came along, there have been a slew of hip-and-happening restaurants opening around Manly. In fact, the wharf area is now home to Hugo’s, The Bavarian, Queen Chow, a new-and-improved Wharf Bar and El Camino. And while all of those venues offer an extremely Manly-style dining experience (super chill, family-friendly), there’s one place to discover that’s more of a local hotspot: Manly Wine.

Located on the other side of the Corso, Manly Wine is tucked away towards the Manly Surf Lifesaving Club. It’s huge inside, with plenty of space for groups of people or kids, offers everything from breakfast and coffee, to dinner and cocktails, and the wine list is exceptional. They know their stuff (hence the name), which means you’re in safe hands while you gaze out over the hustle and bustle of Manly’s South Steyne.

4. Trinity Beach Tavern, Queensland

Trinity Beach Tavern

The views don’t get much more special than what you’ll see at the Trinity Beach Tavern in Tropical North Queensland. This place is perched above the Coral Sea offering stunning views of one of the world’s seven natural wonders: The Great Barrier Reef. But they don’t rely on the view alone. The team at the “fountain on the mountain” take a mindful approach to their menu offering a range of choices from local brews to the freshest seafood.

5. BangPop, Melbourne

BangPop

If you can’t make it to Thailand, then bring a bit of Thailand to you! BangPop is located on the extremely vibrant South Wharf Promenade in Melbourne, which means you get to enjoy a sensational banquet of authentic Thai food and cocktails, as well as the fantastic people watching. After months in lockdown, this is the place to jumpstart your tastebuds.

6. Kingsleys Woolloomooloo

@kingsleys_woolloomooloo

Are you the kind of person who enjoys the waterfront experience without having to navigate the trauma of sand in your shoes, beach balls flying everywhere, and people running around half naked in their speedos? Well then, book yourself a little joy with a table at Kingsleys.

There’s a gauntlet of restaurants on the Woolloomooloo Wharf including Otto, the absolutely wonderful China Doll, and Molo at Manta. But you can’t go past Kingsleys Woolloomooloo. They specialise in steak and seafood, the cocktail list is phenomenal, and they’re literally on the water. Our recommendation is to hit them up for lunch or dinner, then keep the party going at the nearby Tilbury Hotel. Anything after that is up to you!
