To test your Afterpay/Shopify integration before deploying to your live site, you can use Shopify's Test Mode.
Shopify’s Test Mode allows you to:
Connect a sandbox Afterpay merchant account
Mock all supported transactions including orders, authorizations, captures, voids and refunds
⚠️ Do not enable test mode on your live site. Once the payment method is activated in the store settings, it is live for customers to use. Only use a staging or development Shopify store for testing. |

Before attempting to set up Test Mode, you will need to request Afterpay sandbox credentials.

How can you check if Sandbox is successfully enabled?
To check if Sandbox has been configured correctly, go to your test site and conduct a test transaction.
Once it has been redirected to the Afterpay Login page, check the URL and it should be a sandbox URL.you will see the following URL. Please see the below examples:
For the US: https://portal.sandbox.afterpay.com/v2/checkout/en-US/password
For AU: https://portal.sandbox.afterpay.com/v2/checkout/en-AU/password
For the UK: https://portal.sandbox.clearpay.co.uk/v2/checkout/en-GB/password
