Shop Directory assets specifications are:

1.  MID: Afterpay Merchant Identification Number 

2. Company Website/URL

3. Company logoA .png file without a background, width and height between 500 and 500 px, max file size 1MB. * Black and White Logo and transparent background*

4. Main imageA .jpg or .jpeg file, width and height between 500 and 500 px, max file size 1MB. * We do not accept images with text or inappropriate content to be uploaded as the main image in Shop Directory*

5. Store details & CategoriesA short description to summarise your store. 

Select Categories (up to 5) Category lists will vary depending on region* To ensure that merchants are accurately categorised for our customers on the shop directory, we are currently only allowing merchants to pick up to 5 categories to be featured in at this time.

How do I update the avatar (circular) logos in the Shop Directory?

To update the circular logo please e-mail us and attach the file which must follow the below specifications:

• High resolution

• PNG format 

• 400px X 400px size

• Solid background color, no gradient colors

• Avoid text and graphic, should be one or the other not both

• Avoid illegible and long text 

• Avoid circle within the circle if possible

Please refer to the Circular Logo pdf for examples 

If the submitted logo does not meet the requirements, there will be a default logo as shown in the pdf. 

How do I resize an image?

• Open a photo editing tool, I.e. Photoshop

  
  

• Click on the Image tab then select Image Size & update the size to the above specifications

  
  

• Save image and attach to Shop form or upload directly in Hub 

  
  

How do I make a logo background transparent using Photoshop?

• Open Photoshop

  
  

• Open your logo image in Photoshop

  
  

• Add a transparent layer by clicking the square icon in the layers window

  
  

• Drag the new layer below your logo layer

  
  

• Select your logo layer

  
  

• Click the “Magic Wand” tool from the toolbar

  
  

• Select and delete the area that you want to be transparent

  
  

• Save image and attach to Shop form or upload directly in Hub

  
  

Please note:

•  If you do not have a design resource to resize an image in-house, then they can send us a large image and we will resize it for you. Same goes for the logo, if you do not have a vector then a large jpeg or png is fine.

• Afterpay will make all determinations about which merchants are displayed on the Shop Directory.

In-store Location Updates: 

Please use the 'Upload Locations Template' attachment found below if your request includes in-store location updates. Please e-mail us with Store Name, Store Numbers, and Addresses of all the physical stores where you will offer Afterpay.
