This week, fashion lovers flocked to Sydney's Carriageworks for the start of Afterpay Australia Fashion Week. Turning up the temperature on a cool Sydney day, Australia's style crowd arrived in their Fashion Week best, levelling up their street style to new heights.

Hot pink is having a moment. From Valentino to Dior and Versace, the resurgence of this bright hue has been the hot favourite on recent fashion week runways. The bold colour also made more than one cameo on the streets of AAFW. From coats, silk shirts, skirts, tailored pants and blazers to cosy knits, accessories and hot pink hair—this is THE colour of the season.
Suit up as street style this year is all about suiting. While AAFW attendees were spotted in classic waistcoats and tailored pants, oversized blazers were the ultimate go-to this fashion week.
Bold Bags
Adding a splash of colour and style to a dreary day in Sydney, fashion fanatics took to the streets wearing statement bags in various hues. Think bold blues, pastel peaches, turquoise and lime green.

The ever-versatile trench coat made a trendy appearance on the fashion week streets. From stylish neutrals to matrix-style leather, the trusty trench is another winter street style must-have.
White Boots
