The best of AAFW Street Style Day 3 & 4

As we hit days three and four of AAFW, attendees continued to brave the wet weather while upping the street style stakes. Stalking the streets outside Carriageworks, fashion lovers were spotted in the finest Fashion Week trends, from big sleeves and bold accessories to power suits and levelled up outwear; welcome to our AAFW Day 3 and 4 roundup.

Big Sleeves

Billowing sleeves, the bigger the better, were a clear theme as we hit the AAFW midweek mark. Puff sleeve dresses and tops in bright shades brought a wave of colour to the chilly weather— hot pink, blues, orange and varying green hues were the top picks.

Western

Yee-haa, western appears to be making its comeback. From outwear to shoes and accessories, AAFW attendees brought some western flair to their wintery looks with fringed jackets, ankle and knee-high cowboy boots, and outback-style hats, perfect for fending off the rain.

Sets / Power Suits

The power suit was back in full force on AAFW day 3 and 4. Matchy matchy suits have been a crowd favourite this week, with trendy attendees sporting both monochrome and colourful co-ords in a variety of shades. Oversized blazers, tailored pants paired with waistcoats or skimpy crops were the go-to look.

Puffer Jackets

Australia's fashion crowd kept things cosy while looking chic in winter's must-have trend—the puffer jacket. This week was all about elevated outerwear, with puffer jackets in sleek blacks and neutrals, cropped and knee-length with the appearance of utility-style sleeveless jackets in playful pastels.

Colourful Accessories

While bright colours flourished at fashion week, many opted for statement shoes and accessories in bold shades to set off their ensembles. Hot pink tights and crocs, orange loafers, blue bags, green sunnies—all colours of the rainbow were represented this fashion week.
