New research shows customers don’t just want to use Afterpay to update their wardrobe, they want to use it for everyday purchases too.

A new study found:

  • 1 in 4 Afterpay customers have paid for groceries with Afterpay in the past 12 months.
  • 35% of Afterpay customers pay for petrol with Afterpay at least once a week.
  • 42% of Afterpay customers will shop with a competitor if they can’t pay for their groceries, petrol or everyday essentials with Afterpay.
