How Can I Add Afterpay Messaging To The Product Pages And Cart Pages?

Explanation:

Before moving forward with adding Afterpay messaging, please make sure you have already added Afterpay at checkout on your Shopify store by confirming Afterpay is visible and functioning at checkout. You cannot use the Afterpay messaging without first adding Afterpay at checkout successfully. Ensure Afterpay is visible at checkout and functioning before you attempt anything with the Afterpay On-Site Messaging App. You cannot use the Afterpay On-Site Messaging App without first adding Afterpay at checkout successfully.

Afterpay has two implementation options available for Shopify merchants to display Afterpay installment messaging: 

  • Afterpay On-site Messaging App

    • This Shopify app is designed to easily allow you to configure Afterpay messaging on your website through your Shopify store’s UI.

  • Manually Add Afterpay Site Messaging to Theme

    • The Afterpay Code Snippet allows you to manually add Afterpay messaging to the product and cart pages. You do this by copy-pasting the Afterpay Messaging code snippet into your Shopify Liquid template file.

  2. Add the Messaging to your Product Pages

  3. Add the Messaging to your Cart Page

Important Notes:

You cannot use the Afterpay On-site Messaging App to add Afterpay at checkout. Instead, follow the instructions on the Add Afterpay at checkout page.
