Australia - Terms and Conditions

This Afterpay promotional offer (“Afterpay Promo”) is a limited time offer available on first purchases for all new Afterpay customers, commencing at 12:00am on 23 October 2023, ending at 11:59pm on 28 December 2023 (all times stated are AEST) (“Promotional Period”).

These are the terms and conditions that apply in the event that an eligible customer (“you / your”) claims the Afterpay Promo available for use in conjunction with services provided by Afterpay Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 15 169 342 947) of Level 8, 376-390 Collins Street Melbourne VIC 3000 (“Afterpay”) subject to the Afterpay Terms of Service, available here. When you claim the Afterpay Promo you agree to the following: 

1. You are an “eligible customer” for the purposes of this Afterpay Promo if you are a new Afterpay customer, who is an Australian resident, aged 18 years and over, and you have never made a purchase using Afterpay with any retailer. 
2. You will receive a AUD$30 promotional credit when you make your first purchase of AUD$50 or more in a single transaction using Afterpay at checkout with any Afterpay retailer (excluding DoorDash, GoSeeTravel, Motorhome Republic, Airport Rentals, Kogan, Aussie Broadband, and Wondershare). 
3. The promotional credit: 
4. will be automatically applied to your Afterpay account when you follow the promotional deeplink from the ad, or when you apply the code “TREATYOURSELF30” within the mobile app;
5. is valid for 14 days from the time you claim the Afterpay Promo; 
6. is single use only and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer;
7. will be applied to the total original purchase value as displayed by the retailer (including tax, shipping costs) to reduce the value of your four payments equally; and
8. cannot be applied to purchases made before or after the Promotional Period. 
9. Afterpay may modify or cancel the offer at any time without prior notice to you. If you received the promotional code (directly or indirectly) from a third party, that third party also reserves the right to modify or cancel the offer at any time.
10. The Afterpay Promo is available by invitation only, is non-transferable, is not redeemable for cash or credit, and may not be resold. 
11. You are only entitled to apply one Afterpay Promo (and promotional credit) which is limited to one per order, per customer and account, and regardless if your purchase made using the Afterpay Promo is returned and/or refunded.
12. If any of the products purchased using the Afterpay Promo (and promotional credit) are returned, the maximum amount you will be refunded is the amount you actually paid for the product, subject to applicable refund policies.
13. The Afterpay Promo (and promotional credit) may not be applied to pre-order items, subscriptions or any cross border transactions and may not be combined with any other Afterpay promotion.
14. Each Afterpay Promo applies only to qualifying items.
15. If you breach these Afterpay Promo terms or Afterpay’s Terms of Service, you will not be eligible for any promotional credit under this Afterpay Promo. 
16. The Afterpay Promo is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
