All refunds for Apple orders are managed by Apple. You’ll need to contact Apple directly to raise a refund request. Afterpay can’t initiate refunds on your behalf. Visit apple.com/au/shop/help/returns_refunds or call 133 622 for help.
How refunds work by order type
Pay Monthly order — financed items (example: iPhone, MacBook)
Full refund: your order is cancelled and no further instalments are due. No further interest accrues from the point of a full refund.
Partial refund: your remaining principal is reduced by the refunded amount. Your payment dates and frequency do not change — the refund reduces what you owe on future instalments.
Pay in full order (example: accessories, AppleCare, shipping)
Apple manages and processes your refund.
Once processed, the refund is returned directly to your linked debit card.
Pending order (an order that hasn’t shipped yet)
If Apple cancels the order before it ships or is ready for collection in store, the pending order is cancelled.
The temporary hold on your available to spend is released.
Any down payment charged at checkout is refunded to your linked debit card.
No payment schedule is created. There’s nothing to pay on the financed portion of your order at this stage.

Refund processing times are determined by Apple. See apple.com/au/shop/help/returns_refunds for details.
Once Apple processes the refund, your Afterpay payment schedule will be adjusted to reflect the returned amount. This is typically reflected within 10 business days.

For updates on your refund status, contact Apple directly at apple.com/au/support or by calling 133 622. Once the refund is processed, you can view your updated order details in the My Afterpay tab (in the app or web portal).
