Spring’s the season for cleaning, or so I’ve been told. This will be my first spring living with my cleanfreak partner, so for me, this whole month is a brand new experience.

You know, I used to think that I was clean, but I’ve soon found out that there is clean, and there’s clean. Throughout this article I’ll share with you a range of products that I wish I had in my house to help me get to that cleanliness level that my partner manages to reach seemingly effortlessly - all without breaking the bank.

Roomba R692 Robotic Vacuum

Kicking things off, how could we not talk about God's gift to people who would rather lay on the couch than stand up and clean - The Roomba. The sci-fi esq robot cleaner burst onto the scene a few years ago and has been the saviour of the lazy folk ever since.

With incredible sensors that detect its surroundings and the ability to be controlled from your phone, this is the peak of human engineering and I doubt that we will ever create a greater invention in my lifetime.

Non Stop Cleaning Kit Window Vacuum

Now, to be real with you all, I can’t stand window cleaning. It’s those damn smears that I can’t get rid of and every time that I think I’ve nailed it, boom, there’s one spec that I missed - causing me to rage quit and wonder why do I even bother. So, imagine my surprise when I found that THIS WHOLE TIME there had been a vacuum powered window and mirror cleaner. Like, kind of annoyed that I’m this late to the game to be honest.

Thankfully, with this gadget, I can now set the width of the glass, run it over with the vacuum and say goodbye to those damn smears.

Dust Gone Automatic Rolling Ball

Okay, I don’t even need to try and zhuzh this up.

It’s a colourful, cute robot ball that rolls around, sucks up all the dust around you while you do whatever you want. When it’s done all you simply do is rinse it off. It’s the greatest product EVER and I mean EVER made.

Essential Spray Mop

It may be controversial but I’m going to go ahead and say it - of all the cleaning out there, mopping is my favourite. I don’t know why, maybe because vacuums break down, scrubbing is a chore or that cleaning tiles is just so satisfying.

The only thing that sucks is the bucket. You’ve got to lug it around with you and if the wringer is busted then the whole operation is doomed to fail. That’s why something super easy like the Essential Spray Mob is the GOAT for me. Simple, easy to store and almost enjoyable to use.

Magnetic window wiper

Living in an apartment with sliding windows, sure, you can get the inside of the windows clean all well and good, but you’ve got no chance of ever cleaning those hard to reach places on the outside. That is, until you use a magnetic window cleaner. It’s like controlling both time and space all at once, like you’ve become a cleaning god and now for once, you can finally see through pristine windows.

Gap Cleaning Brush

Now, if the image above doesn’t make you feel just so satisfied beyond belief then I can’t help you my friend, because that image is perfection. It’s like nailing a 7-10 split in bowling, like watching dishes fit perfectly in the washer or finally getting that thing out of your teeth. That is only what I imagine the pleasures are that await me with the Gap Cleaning Brush, because you best believe that I’m adding one to cart as I write this.

Electric Dusting Brush

Let’s be real. Who has time to dust? I know there’s a constant war against it, but honestly can it just chill out? I’m sick of losing this fight and having to wipe down constantly, time to call in the big guns. The dust bunnies won’t know what hit ‘em with the Electric Dusting Brush. Now, instead of manually doing anything, just point and WHAM the dust is gonezo.
