Afterpay lets you shop now and pay over time. Your purchase is split into four payments, due every two weeks.

To shop with Afterpay:

1. Choose a store in the Shop Directory.

2. Select Afterpay as your payment method at checkout.

3. Create an Afterpay account if you’re a first-time customer.

4. Provide the requested personal information.

5. Link a valid debit or credit card.

6. Log in to your Afterpay account if you’re a returning customer.

We’ll provide an approval decision when you apply. Credit checks apply to new customers. You must be over 18. The credit enquiry may be visible to other lenders and may affect your credit score.

For an online order, the retailer ships your purchase after checkout.

To shop in-store:

1. Download the Afterpay app.

2. Follow the in-app instructions to set up the Afterpay Card.

3. Add the Afterpay Card to Apple Pay or Google Pay.

4. Make a contactless payment at checkout.

You’ll pay 25% at the time of purchase and take your purchase home that day.

Manage your payments

You can log in to your Afterpay account to view your payment schedule or pay before a due date. Otherwise, we’ll debit each payment on the date shown in your payment schedule.

You may have more than one instalment due on the same date. If the instalments use the same preferred payment method, we’ll combine them into one transaction. We process orders paid with Apple Pay individually.

Your payment confirmation email will include a breakdown of the instalments paid.

Order approvals

Note: Afterpay does not approve every order. To support responsible spending, we consider factors such as:

• Whether your card has enough funds for the first instalment

• How long you’ve used Afterpay

• Your payment history

• The amount you currently owe

• The value of the order

• The number of open orders you have
