What is 'Invite a Friend'?

When you invite a friend or family member who is a New Customer to use the Afterpay service and that customer completes their first Afterpay purchase, you will receive a promotional code for $20 in referral credit to be used towards any eligible future Afterpay purchase of $50 or more.

How long does Invite a Friend promo remain valid for?

Once you receive the promotion via email, it is only valid for 90 days if not used and only a one time use only. Click here to view our terms. You can check the expiry date of any promotions in the promotions section of your profile in the mobile app.

Can I see what active promotions I have in the app?

In the app, under 'Promos' there is now a dedicated place for you to see your active promotions. Each of the promos/offers you have will have a link to its corresponding terms. If you have no promos, you will see a message confirming that there are no active promotions. The promotion section is only available on the app, and won't appear if you log into your account via website.

I have a merchant promo code, can I combine it with my Afterpay Promo Code?

The short answer is "Yes". If you want to use a merchant promo code, you should input the merchant promo code at the checkout page on the merchant's website. And the Afterpay promo (if any has been assigned to your account) will be applied when completing the check out with Afterpay.

How will I be refunded if I cancel or return some of the items in the order?

You will receive a refund of any payments made for the order.

A partial refund will be applied in the following order:

- Unpaid payments
- Actual payment amounts that have been charged on the payment method (will be refunded to your card/s)
- The discount amount (will not be refunded to your card)

Picking a day of the week means you can fit payments to when they suit you, and it also makes tracking payments easier. Enjoy the greater convenience of paying on a preferred day and reducing your payment reminders in the process. You can manage your payment reminders in the Afterpay app.

No, you have the flexibility to manage your scheduled payments to come out on any day of the week that suits you, anytime.

Note: Changing the preferred day applies to future orders only; any payment days for existing orders will remain the same.
